Author Details

Ashley is a long-time comics nerd and began reading them at the ripe age of four - starting with the Fantastic Four and expanding rapidly from there. Superheroes aside, they also enjoy Lovecraftian and Eldritch horror, dabbling in art, collecting oddities, and generally living life with their partner and family.

Industry Focus

Ashley has been a Comics Writer with Screen Rant since July 2023 and has a particular interest in Bat-Family titles, X-Men, and works involving the extended Magneto/Maximoff family. Character analysis pieces are their forte and working theories are another great interest.

Favorite Media

Regarding comics, Ashley is partial to X-Men and X-Men-related titles and Batman (especially the extended Bat-Family crew and the Batgirls). Their favorite comic runs include the gone-before-its-time All-New X-Factor, Cassandra Cain's original Batgirl run, X-Factor Investigations, Under the Red Hood, and many others. Otherwise, they enjoy podcasts like The Magnus Archives and watch endless re-runs of Parks & Recreation.
