The perfect Jedi Master to train Grogu already exists in the Star Wars universe, and has for the last eight years. When Grogu was first introduced in The Mandalorian as a Jedi youngling who had escaped Order 66, it quickly became clear that, while he couldn't speak, he had a strong connection to the Force. Grogu's backstory has gradually been revealed, and he increasingly uses his connection to the Force to protect his savior and adoptive father, Din Djarin. Even without proper training and despite being the equivalent of a toddler in human years, Grogu proves himself to be a formidable warrior with great potential.
