The movie, which is due to hit Netflix in just over four months, is the sequel to Zack Snyder's new movie Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire, which was released on the streamer just a few days before Christmas. The epic science fiction franchise follows a warrior named Kora (Sofia Boutella) who gathers fighters from across the galaxy to fight back against the corrupt government of the Motherworld, which controls the powerful army known as the Imperium.

The trailer begins with portentous voiceover narration proclaiming, "Their nightmare is us fighting together to defend something we love." The remainder of the 85-second video makes good on the promise of that opening line, showcasing the villagers coming together to wage war. In addition to hinting at the brewing battle, the trailer showcases the fact that the movie will incorporate more backstory for Djimon Hounsou's former Imperium general Titus.
A Lot is Riding On Rebel Moon - Part Two
There is a great deal of responsibility resting on the first two Rebel Moon movies.
