1984 was the worst year for DC movies, with Supergirl being a box office failure and receiving harsh reviews.
Supergirl had an 8% score on Rotten Tomatoes and only made $14.3 million, losing $20 million for DC that year.
2004 was a close second with Catwoman, but the success of DC's television series offset some of the movie's issues.
